For A Boy Whose Turning FIVE!!!

My friend from schools eldest son is turning 5!! and off to school. I had to make him a card to celebrate this milestone. Ive used retired DSP to create the sky and hills. I coloured in the dinosaurs from DINOROAR using my wwatercolour crayons and aqua painter. I then fussy cut the dinosaurs out and mounted them with dimensionals. I seem to do a lot more fussy cutting then I have in the past and I don't enjoy it but I do LOVE how the end product looks! Thanks for stopping by, Amanda

Me Time

I have been concentrating on cards lately and when I did have a free minute I was reading The Wideacre Trilogy by Philippa Gregory. Before I started to read anymore books I decided I needed to get back to my cradt space and work on some art journal pages. Over the long weekend I created this page "Me Time" Sorry it has loaded sideways, it was showing the correct way in my photo software. Thanks for stopping by, Amanda

Who doesn't like a bright card?

Whilst I had the bright cardstock, inkpads, button and ribbon out I made three cards. I also used punches and DSP. The stamp used was A Reason To Smile. Thanks for stopping by, Amanda

Random Art Journalling

My friends got married in March and the song that the bride walked down the aisle to was JUST BREATHE by Pearl Jam. I loved the lyrics so much I googled them and then created an art journal page using them. My colours are pink and purple, I used my new distress ink and some paint to 'rough' it up! AJ 21

Our prompt was to create a double page spread of a week in our life, a diary page as such. I used stickers, stamps, butterfly stamps I brought for the kids, my new distress ink, paint and a multitude of $1 pens that I have picked up in the sales to document my week starting on Monday 28th May and finishing Sunday 3rd June

Reason to Smile

I received this stamp set free with a qualifying order and had to give it some ink. I have embossed the flowerhead with tangerine tango embossing powder mixed with vanilla embossing powder. Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry were the colours I used.
I gave the card to my friends daughter for her 8th birthday. Thanks for stopping by, Amanda
